Ye will die

mayat3Die. Allah says, “After that, at length ye will die [Al-Mukminun 23:15]

Nor does know in what land he is to die. Allah says, “Verily the knowledge of the Hour is with Allah (alone). It is He Who sends down rain, & He Who knows what is in the wombs. Nor does any one know what it is that he will earn on the morrow: Nor does any one know in what land he is to die. Verily with Allah is full knowledge & He is acquainted (with all things). [Luqman 31:34]

Takes the souls. Allah says, “It is Allah that takes the souls (of men) at death; & those that die not (He takes) during their sleep: those on whom He has passed the decree of death, He keeps back (from returning to life), but the rest He sends (to their bodies) for a term appointed verily in this are Signs for those who reflect. [Az-Zumar 39:42]

Taste of death. Allah says, “Every soul shall have a taste of death in the end to Us shall ye be brought back. But those who believe & work deeds of righteousness – to them shall We give a Home in Heaven,- lofty mansions beneath which flow rivers,- to dwell therein for aye;- an excellent reward for those who do (good)!- [Al-Ankabut 29:57-58]

A messenger died too. Allah says, Muhammad is no more than a messenger: many Were the messenger that passed away before him. If he died or were slain, will ye then Turn back on your heels? If any did turn back on his heels, not the least harm will he do to Allah; but Allah (on the other hand) will swiftly reward those who (serve Him) with gratitude. [Ali-Imran 3:144]

Permanent life. Allah says, “We granted not to any man before thee permanent life (here): if then thou shouldst die, would they live permanently? [Al-Mukminun 21:34]

kuburan5Who lives & dies. Allah says, “And put thy trust in Him Who lives & dies not; & celebrate his praise; & enough is He to be acquainted with the faults of His servants;-He Who created the heavens & the earth & all that is between, in six days, & is firmly established on the Throne (of Authority): Allah Most Gracious: ask thou, then, about Him of any acquainted (with such things).  [Al-Furqan 25:58-59]

The legacy. Allah says, “And this was the legacy that Abraham left to his sons, & so did Jacob; “Oh my sons! Allah hath chosen the Faith for you; then die not except in the Faith of Islam.” [Al-Baqarah 2:132]

Obey Allah & the messenger. Allah says, “All who obey Allah & the messenger are in the company of those on whom is the Grace of Allah,- of the prophets (who teach), the sincere (lovers of Truth), the witnesses (who testify), & the Righteous (who do good): Ah! what a beautiful fellowship![An-Nisa 4:69]

Evil & good. Allah says, “Every soul shall have a taste of death: & We test you by evil & by good by way of trial. to Us must ye return. [Al-Anbiya 21:35]

On the Day of Judgment. Allah says, “Every soul shall have a taste of death: And only on the Day of Judgment shall you be paid your full recompense. Only he who is saved far from the Fire & admitted to the Garden will have attained the object (of Life): For the life of this world is but goods & chattels of deception. [Ali-Imran 3:185]

Sustenance in the presence. Allah says, “Think not of those who are slain in Allah’s way as dead. Nay, they live, finding their sustenance in the presence of their Lord; [Ali-Imran 3:169]

Life in this world. Allah says, ““There is nothing but our life in this world! We shall die & we live! But we shall never be raised up again! They say: “What! when we die & become dust & bones, could we really be raised up again? [Al-Mukminun 23:37,82]

Will raise up those who die. Allah says, “For We assuredly sent amongst every People a messenger, (with the Command), “Serve Allah, & eschew Evil”: of the People were some whom Allah guided, & some on whom error became inevitably (established). So travel through the earth, & see what was the end of those who denied (the Truth).

If thou art anxious for their guidance, yet Allah guideth not such as He leaves to stray, & there is none to help them.

kuburan4They swear their strongest oaths by Allah, that Allah will not raise up those who die: Nay, but it is a promise (binding) on Him in truth: but most among mankind realise it not.

(They must be raised up), in order that He may manifest to them the truth of that wherein they differ, & that the rejecters of Truth may realise that they had indeed (surrendered to) Falsehood. [An-Nahl 16:36-39][1304121, AlQuran Digital 2.1, SonySugema 3]

  1. Death will come in any way, any where, any place … Ya Allah, please let our last words be “Ash-hadu an la ilaha ill-Allah wa ash-hadu anna Muhammad-ar-rasul-Allah.”
